Not only are we smiling nonstop these days but we are very interested in the books that are read to us, the toys hanging from our bouncie seat, sitting outside and enjoying fresh air, and we are now sleeping through the night (10:45pm - 6am)!!! Can you believe we are right at 12lbs each???

All Smiles - 8 wks
We are all smiles these days! Making "ooh" and "aah" sounds are our new favorite activity, too!

Northbound at 5wks
We made our first road trip to Virginia with Nanny and Papaw at 5wks. Two feedings on the way there made a 6 hour trip 8 hours but not a tear was shed! All of the elderly folk hanging out in McDonalds were thrilled to see the twins. What a refreshing time to step away from home and relax in the mountains with the boys!

4 Weeks Old Today
Weighing in over 8lbs each we present the latest pictures of our little men! Outside the battle of fighting acid reflux all are happy in the Johnson household. We are on a 4 hour feeding schedule (Dr. Denmark), transitioning from our Newborn diapers to our 1s, and outgrowing some of our Newborn clothes!
Nanny is with us until Monday when she and Papaw will return to Virginia. That will be a sad day in our home but we know they will be back.
In the meantime, we are all fighting for sleep and the opportunity to cuddle with these little guys. What joys they are! Thank you, Father!

BUT, FRONT ON, YOU CAN SEE OUR DIFFERENCES...

Ringing in the New Year
We cannot pretend there is much time to blog these days but we are loving life with these precious sons! Ryland weighed in at 8lb 2oz today and Roddic at 7lb 14.5oz. Something is working right as they continue to sprout!
Thankful for the love and support of friends who have stopped by to bring a meal, help with a feeding, join us for night duty (Becca, you are a saint), or babysit (the Boughey's put a spell on these guys and they slept 5 hours after being with you all...perhaps you should move in)!
Attached are some of the latest photos:
(Roddic is on the left reaching out to touch his brother Ryland's hand and Ryland smirks.)
